Mumbwa Mine Operations

In 2015 Grovenor Resources Zambia Limited acquired a mining licence for Copper and Gold in the Mumbwa and  Kasempa region issued by the Zambian Government mines Department. Operations have commenced at the Mumbwa mine after an Impact environment Assessment and securing the requisite license from the Zambia Environmental Management Agency. With an investment licence from the Zambia Development Agency (ZDA).

Government Resources commenced selling beneficiated 20% grade copper ore concentrate from its Mumbwa Mines to Zalco limited, a local producer of copper cathodes at their plant based in Kabwe. They have also installed a processing plant to produce Copper Cement for further benefication of higher copper concentrates from Mumbwa mine.
